Confirmation of your booking

Entering your credit card details on our website does not confirm or guarantee your stay. To fully confirm your booking, you must settle a deposit arranged by one of our team members before receiving a confirmation email.

Room and property access

Room access is only granted to the people included in the reservation. If you wish to receive a guest in the residence’s living area, please arrange this visit with your host in advance.

Cancellation policy

There will be no penalty fees for cancellations occurring more than 15 days before the check-in date, experience date, or taxi journey date. The full amount of the reservation is due in case of a cancellation 15 days or less from the check-in date, experience date, or taxi journey date, as well as in the case of a no-show.

Refund and return policy

If the deposit or total payment has been made in advance, it will be reimbursed in full if the cancellation request is received more than 15 days before the check-in date, experience date, or taxi journey date. There will be no refunds for cancellations less than 15 days before the check-in date, experience date, taxi journey date, or in the case of a no-show. Our “Shammet Hawa” gift cards are non-refundable.

In certain limited cases, the full fee is required in advance to secure and confirm your booking. Refunds are not possible; however, postponing your stay to a later date can be discussed as an alternative.

Damages and breakages

Please take care when staying at your host’s property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages you cause to the accommodation or its contents. You are kindly requested to report any incidents as they occur.

Liability

Neither L’Hôte Libanais nor your hosts accept any liability for any damage, loss, or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions unless proven to be caused by a negligent act committed by ourselves, your hosts, or contractors while in the course of employment.
