Beit Al Wali · Overview
Generosity and hospitality go hand in hand at Beit Al Wali, a splendid boutique hotel located in the historic centre of Damascus.
Beit Al Wali · The place
Named after the ‘wali’ (governor) of the region, who was greatly respected for his kindness and humanity, Beit Al Wali is a place where majesty reigns. This extraordinary 29-room boutique hotel was originally three 18th-century Damascene houses, which were lovingly restored by Edward in 2009.
Hand-crafted wooden ceilings, colourful tiles, and traditional lanterns and chandeliers grace its rooms, while magnificent stonework, pretty plants, and lush vines envelop its outdoor spaces and courtyards.
Beit Al Wali · The team
Besides its sublime beauty, Beit Al Wali promises guests impeccable service from the moment they arrive. So, whether you choose to wander around the nearby souks or enjoy a cold refreshment on the terrace, rest assured that Edward and the team are never far away to make you feel well taken care of.
