Wine tasting and lunch in the vineyards, Lebanon · Experiences · L’Hôte Libanais

Lebanon’s viticultural traditions date back five millennia, making it one of the oldest wine-producing countries in the world. Today, there are around 50 wineries dotted across Lebanon, including a new wave of boutique wineries.

Lunch with a perfect view

Nestled in the mountainous northern village of Nahla, Sept is a magical haven that lends itself perfectly to an al fresco lunch experience. After you’ve wandered around the vineyards, take a seat on the terrace to enjoy flavoursome regional specialities prepared with the freshest ingredients as you look out over the rolling green hills. You can be sure that your meal will be accompanied by formidable wine!

A winery with a difference

At L’Hôte Libanais, we chose Sept Winery because of its off-the-beaten-path location and the passion of its winemaker and founder, Maher, to revive family land whilst respecting natural agriculture. Maher will eagerly show you around his biodynamic vineyard, where you’ll learn about the winemaking process and the extraordinary nature of Lebanon’s terroir.
